Annual Vader May Day Festival takes place on the first Saturday of every May. The 2019 Festival theme is “May the Fourth Be With You.” All-day events include a parade, cake walk, May Pole Dance, beer garden and much more.
Class will cover selection of blueberry plants, care, and pruning.
Join us for excepts from ‘NW Bookshelf’ as well as a meet and greet with performers. Performances at 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Come get creative with Karen and Freya of Gaean Allusions pottery. We’ll provide wheel-thrown cups and extruded tiles, plus colored slips for you to decorate them with. All pieces will be fired at our studio, and ready to pick up the following Friday.

Hands On invites families of children with sensory sensitivities to join popular teacher Lahela Peterson and enjoy the museum before it opens to the public for “Special Mornings of Play.”
Led by museum educators, these are special events for families of children with autism or other special needs that provide a private, less over-stimulating time to experience the museum with other families who may share the same life experience.
Note: Whenever possible we create a quiet space with calming activities during normal weekend business hours. Noise canceling earphones always available free of charge.
