Pre-registration not required. Workshops available are as follows:
9am-10:30am Stream Team & Public Outreach, Basic Vegetable Gardening, or Stormwater Management in Centralia.
10:45am-12:15pm Inviting Pest Fighting Pollinators into Your Garden, Roses: Selection, Planning and Care, or Growing Plants Inside a Greenhouse/Polytube.
12:45pm-2:15pm Aerated Static Compost, Identifications of Priority Noxious Weeds and Their Control, or Hoop-houses.

Celebrate Earth Day 2023 at the Chehalis River Discovery Trail with Lewis County Stream Team, Noxious Weed Control, and the Chehalis River Basin Land Trust. The work party will meet from 10AM-1PM on Saturday, April 22nd at the trailhead parking lot at the end of Goodrich Road. We will be removing invasive weeds from the trail to improve wildlife habitat. Are you ready to learn how a firearm functions? Don’t know how to choose a firearm you might want, then this class is for you. Learn the basics of how a firearm operates, learn about different ammo, how to grip the firearm, how to stand, line up the sights, press the trigger and more. If you do not own a firearm I will have several available for you to try. You would need to bring a box of 9mm Luger or Parabellum ammo and/or .22 LR (long rifle) ammo. You would also have to bring eye & ear protection as well as a baseball cap. The fee is $85 and you must call Dolly at 360-978-4338 in advance to reserve your spot. Can have 6 ladies in each class. If you have questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
Thought about buying a handgun and don’t know what to look for? Own a handgun and not sure how to use it? Come learn the basics of handguns, how to grip them, how to use the sights, how to load and unload, how to stand and more. Come with questions and leave with answers. If you do not own a handgun, bring .22LR and/or 9mm Luger or Parabellum ammo and use one of the instructors firearms. Bring your firearm (or ammo if you do not own a firearm), the appropriate ammo for that firearm, eye/ear protection (I have extras of those too), a baseball cap and a notebook for note taking. The Fire Rescue Spectacular, July 8, is the ultimate firefighter and first-responder experience for kids! At the free street fair kids can explore a fleet of emergency vehicles, meet first responders, take the Junior Fighter Challenge, enjoy free ice cream, and so much more!
