The worst time to learn it is when you need that knowledge the most and yet know nothing.” Come and learn how to operate a handgun. Learn how to grip, align sights, press the trigger, how to stand and more. Don’t have a handgun, no problem. Just bring 9mm Luger/Parabellum and/or .22LR and you can use mine. You can try a semi-auto in both 9 mm and .22LR as well as a .22LR revolver. To register call Dolly at 360-978-4338. Earth Day – Work Party at Chehalis River Discovery Trail
Friday, April 22nd from 9 am ‘til 12:00 noon

What: Earth Day Discovery Trail Work Party to repair recent flood damage.
Snacks and drinking water will be available (bring your own bottle).
Due to hazards left by the floods, this event is not suitable for young children.
You must pre-register for this event. See instructions below.
Where: Chehalis River Discovery Trail, 1545 Goodrich Rd, Centralia. Parking for high
ground clearance vehicles will be at the old barn (follow the signs). Rides will
be provided as needed from the trail’s regular lot at the treatment plant.
When: 9 AM until 12:00 noon, Friday, April 22nd, 2022. Masking is optional.
Please join Chehalis River Basin Land Trust volunteers, the Great Old Broads and others as we work to repair recent flood damage along the Discovery Trail. (See: Discovery Trail along the Chehalis River (lewiscountytrails.org)) Please arrive early to sign the waiver.
Sturdy gloves and suitable work clothes are recommended. We will have some garden tools and gloves available at the site. Please feel free to bring your own hand tools if you’d like.

I will instruct on the basic safety of firearms, how to grip, stand, aim, trigger press, and other issues involving firearms. If you do not have a handgun, I have a couple 9mm and a couple .22’s for you to try. Bring eye/ear protection (I have extra of these as well), your firearm if you have one, the proper ammo for that firearm, a baseball cap and a notebook to take notes. School has started and now is the time to educate yourself on firearm safety. Come learn firearm safety rules, how a handgun functions, how to load it, clear jams, trigger press, sight alignment, stance and more. Class size is limited to 6 attendees so register early.
