We’re a newer club – Lewis County Rock and Gem Society. We meet second Tuesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. at Cowlitz Prairie Grange in Toledo on Jackson Hwy. We are family-oriented with a juniors program also. Bring your rock for show and tell, enjoy our monthly program, bid on something in our silent auction and bring a snack to share for break time. We have door prizes and try to go on field trips as often as we can. $10 for yearly membership for a single or $15 for a family
Nature Nurture Farmacy is so excited to roll out a new herb class series! Join Dr. Alicia from 2:00-3:30 p.m. on the 2nd Sunday of each month to learn about a new herb in an easy, hands-on environment. You will leave with the knowledge of how to incorporate herbs into your daily routine, as well as a few goodies to start you off!
Nature Nurture Farmacy will be kicking off the 12-part series with mint. This herb is great for the gut and lungs, making it the perfect herb to add to your medicine cabinet this time of year.

Your help is needed. We have removed blackberry along the trail and need to plant native shrubs to slow the return of this problem plant. All the plants are bare-root and must be put in the ground quickly. Many hands make light the work – bring your friends.

THE ADDAMS FAMILY, A NEW MUSICAL COMEDY
Meet the Addams Family on March 5, 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the Roxy Theater located at 233 W Main Ave. in Morton.
Calling all actors, designers, artists, singers, dancers, and technicians who would like major involvement in putting on our next big musical. We will listen to music, read scenes, and discuss our vision for the summer production. Compost happens! You know the basics. WSU Lewis County Master Recycler Composter volunteers will teach you the rest of the story. Learn the in-depth details on what goes on in your compost pile or bin, and how the decomposition process works. The class will also cover using your finished compost, worm castings, and worm tea as well as composting alternatives, such as Green Cone Digesters. Bring your questions!
