The Chehalis River Basin Land Trust is sponsoring a community forum to talk about climate change and how our community can respond. The discussion will be introduced by Centralia College instructor Dr. Lisa Carlson. She offers this statement: Climate change is here. Predictions of warmer temperatures, more wildfire and more intense storms seem to be coming true.
What does this mean for Washington State? How will my family and I be affected? What can we do to prepare for it and help reduce our climate impact?

Join in a spirited book discussion of a selected title each month. New participants are always welcome! The March book is “The Women in the Castle” by Jessica Shattuck. Copies are available at the Information Desk one month before the discussion.
Seeking adventurers to embark on this epic quest! Come play Dungeons and Dragons on first and third (and fifth) Thursdays. Beginners welcome! Snacks provided by the Friends of the Chehalis Timberland Library.

Hands On invites families of children with sensory sensitivities to enjoy the museum before it opens to the public for “Special Mornings of Play.” Note: Whenever possible we create a quiet space with calming activities during normal weekend business hours.

Non-members: $7 per person, ages 18 months & older
