This community events calendar is the place to find fun activities and things to do throughout Lewis County, including Centralia, Chehalis and beyond.
This April, Ballet Theatre of Washington brings their beloved production of The Sorcerer’s Apprentice back to Centralia College’s Corbett Theater. This show will feature the best young dancers in southwest Washington, and will have magical effects created by award winning magician Jeff Evans. It will also include amazing professional circus acts from the Portland area. All of this combines into a magical spell that will entertain and enchant theatergoers of all ages.
Shows are Friday April 20 at 7:00 p.m., and Saturday April 21 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Tickets are only $10 for adults and $8 for kids, students, and seniors, and can be purchased at Book n Brush in Chehalis, Holley’s Place and Centralia Ballet Academy in Centralia, or online at brownpapertickets.com. The city council’s regular meetings are held at 5:00 p.m. on the second and fourth Mondays of each month. Otherwise, city councilors do not keep regular office hours at city hall. Please call to arrange an appointment.
The City Council provides elected representation of the citizenry in the governing body. The Council meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month (7 p.m. at City Hall) to approve expenditures of funds and set public policy for the community, with the primary criteria being the safety, health, and general welfare of the community.
