Help create a collaborative illustrated book with artist P. Calavara – recognizable from Gallery Boom and around Olympia, especially his large plywood monsters known as Krommitters. P. Calavera is the alter ego of local artist Rick Perry. Rick has provided mask-wearing Krommitters to greet visitors as they enter the lobby and additional examples of his art for the lobby wall. A storyteller as well as artist, Rick spins fanciful collaborative tales incorporating kid’s ideas and inspiration. He likes drawing monsters with kids because there is no wrong way to draw a monster.
