This community events calendar is the place to find fun activities and things to do throughout Lewis County, including Centralia, Chehalis and beyond.
Events include photos with Santa, face painting (Saturday only), handmade crafts, gift items, toys, ornaments, holiday centerpieces, swags, wreaths, homemade candies and baked goods, a silent auction and raffle.
Lunch can be purchased Friday and Saturday. Fundraiser proceeds benefit Mossyrock High School Scholarship Program.

Join Billie’s Sewing Circle at Billie’s Designer Fabrics tomorrow, January 11th, from 10 – 2 pm as we make Kitty Crack catnip toys to be used as a fundraiser for The Almost Home Project no-kill animal rescue (facebook.com/thealmosthomeproject). Fabric, catnip and sewing machines will be provided. This sewing circle also makes hats and mittens for our local giving trees. Billie’s is a wonderful store located at in downtown Chehalis at 510 N. Market Blvd with lots of fabulous fabrics and sewing machines worth drooling over not to mention the reasonable repair work they do.
MLK Service Day: Our big planting event! Come on out to help us revitalize the Discovery Trail! Tasks include: planting native shrubs to compete with blackberry and reed canary grass; planting conifer trees among our large but short lived shade trees; improving stream-side ecology with new plantings; enjoying a cold winter’s day among friends and fellow ecologists.

Bethel’s School of the Arts is excited to announce their second Dinner Theater Event. Join us as we take a trip to the 1950’s for Food, Music and Fun! Invite your friends & family to the hottest spot in town, Uncle Phil’s Diner!
Performances are Saturday, February 18th at 1pm and 5:30pm, at Bethel Church – Chehalis Campus, 132 Kirkland Road (Exit 72).
Proceeds from the event will help provide stage lighting on Bethel Downtown/School of the Arts’ Liberty Theater upgraded stage at 413 N Tower Ave, Centralia.

Pope’s Kids Place Annual Gala reaches a different key audience segment and provides a fun, entertaining and engaging way for you to “wow” clients, vendors and employees. Feel good about supporting our local youth, heritage and cultural organizations as you enjoy the unforgettable events of the year.
HOPE on the Slopes, Ski & Ride for a Cure is a vertical challenge and fundraising event for skiers and snowboarders benefiting the American Cancer Society. Individuals and teams engage in a friendly competition for awards and prizes in two categories: Top Fundraisers and Top Vertical Feet Vertical is tracked by RFID or GPS scanning system. Together we will find a CURE! Together we will finish the FIGHT!
Guardian Friends of Lewis County will be hosting a flap jack breakfast at the Chehalis Applebee’s. Breakfast includes 2 pancakes, 2 pieces of bacon, 2 sausages, scrambled eggs, and coffee, OJ or apple juice.
For each ticket you purchase, you will receive a raffle ticket to be entered into a drawing to win a $350 gift certificate for the Great Wolf Lodge that was donated for this event.
The proceeds go to help local foster children in Lewis County. Guardian Friends helps meet the needs that the State does not cover. These needs include specialized therapy, tutoring, sports fees, driver’s education fees, summer camp fees, clothing, bedding and so much more.
In order for the event to take place, Applebee’s requires a minimum of 100 tickets to be sold. Buy your tickets now and help support local children in foster care!
