Girls Night Out is a retail promotion for shopping, dining, and entertainment in downtown Centralia.
Starting points are HUBBUB on the north end and The Station Coffee Bar and Bistro on the south end. Our non-profit is the Human Response Network. Two dollars from every passport sold will go as a donation to them. Also, the first 200 shoppers will get a goody bag. At the end of the night, and it is time to turn your passport end, turn it end at the last business you visit. There will be a drawing of the turned in passports for a chance to win the gift basket! We all look forward to seeing you, so enjoy and have fun shopping and dining in downtown Centralia!

Learn local history at the 2nd Forest Grove Cemetery Tour. Your tour guide will take you through the cemetery where you will encounter living history vignettes. Come early for a daylight tour or at sundown for the lamplighter tour. Will feature tales of immigrants, pioneers, Seatco Prison, a bear attack, a country doctor and more. Proceeds benefit Boy Scout Troop 9014 and is made possible with the help of friends and the South Thurston County Historical Society.
We are a family affected by autism. As our family member grows older, the venues available to them become scarcer. Our goal is to provide a venue specifically for those special needs individuals who are looking for community functions and events.
We do several walkthroughs with lights on and lights off to deal with the various levels of stimulation tolerance. Our intent is the event be spooky not scary. We do not use any bloody or gory props. We are NOT focused on scaring the visitors but providing a enjoyable haunted Halloween experience.

“Engage for Life” is a community pro-life event. Music, desserts, and the opportunity to meet local ministries like Possibilities Pregnancy Center, Rally Round for Ultrasound, Centralia 40 Days for Life, Centralia College Students for Life and Human Life of Lewis County. Our keynote speaker, Mike Spencer, lives in Ohio and is the Midwest Regional Director of Training for “Life Training Institute” and was a pastor for 23 years. His message will equip and encourage the body of Christ to answer God’s call to defend the vulnerable, be a voice for the voiceless and love the women who have been hurt by abortion.
Join with area churches as we rally together to graciously, compassionately and relentlessly engage in the cause for Life and Truth. Families welcome.

WE WANT YOUR HELP!
Did you know… When students are not reading at grade level by 3rd grade, they are four times more likely not to graduate on time or at all. Help an elementary school student become a stronger reader and boost their confidence. About one hour a week is all it takes to change the life of a child. The experience will enrich your life too.
We are in great need of volunteers in Lewis County. If you can commit one hour per week for the duration of the school year, we want to invite you to join us at our next Reading Buddy volunteer orientation on November 9.
RSVP on our website to attend. We hope to see you there!
2017 honorees are: Karama Blackhorn, Leslie Cushman, Dr. Marie Johantgen, Malika Lamont and Merrill Angela Williams.
