This community events calendar is the place to find fun activities and things to do throughout Lewis County, including Centralia, Chehalis and beyond.

Start your spring right! Spend just two hours to help protect the baby plants at the trail. These little gems will grow to enhance everyone’s experience when walking the trail. This work is NOT strenuous, but we will be bending over or kneeling on the ground.
No facilities. Gloves provided or bring your own, and please dress for the weather!
Join writer and curator Mayumi Tsutakawa as she discusses how Washington’s Japanese Americans faced the injustice of internment and how families who lost everything rebuild their lives. This event is sponsored by Humanities Washington and the Friends of the Chehalis Timberland Library.

Bring your Redneck vehicles, big or little, rusty or shiny, loud or quiet, and join Team Laugh Out Loud for a fun-filled afternoon. Prizes for Biggest, Loudest, Most Redneck, Least Redneck and People’s Choice, and a kids’ “vehicle” division.
Lots of activities for the kids: sunflower seed spitting contest, kiddie tractor pull, sack races, tug-o-war, candy walk and more. Vendors, music and a silent auction. Proceeds this year to benefit The Cat’s Meow, low and no-cost spay/neuter services, and socialization and adoption of feral kittens.
A day to engage social services and community members with our homeless neighbors. Free BBQ lunch will be provided, family friendly games, free haircuts. Friendly faces from agencies that provide help with housing, Veteran’s Services, Substance Abuse Treatment, Mental Health Treatment and Domestic Violence.
