This social, family-friendly class gets your body and mind moving in a fun atmosphere. By the end of ten weeks you will have learned the basics of modern square dancing – the same moves used in thousands of square dance club dances and dance events throughout the world. Our season starts on the first Thursday after St. Patrick’s Day and then meets every Thursday until the last Thursday before Halloween. We meet at 6pm at O’Blarney’s Irish Pub in downtown Centralia to begin our weekly run. We will have 6-8 different routes which we will alternate throughout the year. We end our run at O’Blarney’s to enjoy great food and some social time before we all embark on our respective Fridays!

Our focus is to get the information out there about dealing with behavior, and how to recognize sexual abuse of children. Featured speaker Kathy Slattengren, keynote speaker Amy Lang.
Join Ranger Kathy Jacobson for an interpretive program/walk this Saturday to learn about the Chehalis River, the history of Rainbow Falls State Park and the CCC. All ages are welcome. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Please dress for the weather as this program will be held rain or shine. Meet at the picnic shelter in the day use area. A Discover Pass — day or valid annual pass is required for each vehicle entering the park.
Pick up a world map and trace your family’s passage from your ancestral homeland to Salkum, with landing points along the way; then share them on display at the Library! Submissions may be posted to library social media.
