This community events calendar is the place to find fun activities and things to do throughout Lewis County, including Centralia, Chehalis and beyond.
Our season starts on the first Thursday after St. Patrick’s Day and then meets every Thursday until the last Thursday before Halloween. We meet at 6pm at O’Blarney’s Irish Pub in downtown Centralia to begin our weekly run. We will have 6-8 different routes which we will alternate throughout the year. We end our run at O’Blarney’s to enjoy great food and some social time before we all embark on our respective Fridays!
Get ready for BeerCraft 2017! Adults take over the museum on April 21 during Adult Swim: BeerCraft, a social event for 21+ ONLY. Learn the art and science behind craft brews from more than 10 different breweries and chat with local brewing experts. Enjoy music and tasty food as you play your way through the museum! The classic ballet Cinderella is brought to life by the talented young dancers of Ballet Theatre of Washington. The beautiful Cinderella will be joined by an amazing array of characters! A dashing prince, magical fairies, an acrobatic jester are just some of the characters you will meet. You will also get to experience the most outrageous step sisters ever to hit the stage! They will all be accompanied by the Prokofiev’s classic score.
The performances will take place at the newly renovated Liberty Theater in downtown Centralia, WA (413 N Tower). This show is the perfect springtime confection for the whole family. And it’s hilarious.
There will be three performances, Friday April 21 at 7 PM, Saturday April 22 at 2 PM and 7 PM.
Guardian Friends of Lewis County will be hosting a flap jack breakfast at the Chehalis Applebee’s. Breakfast includes 2 pancakes, 2 pieces of bacon, 2 sausages, scrambled eggs, and coffee, OJ or apple juice.
For each ticket you purchase, you will receive a raffle ticket to be entered into a drawing to win a $350 gift certificate for the Great Wolf Lodge that was donated for this event.
The proceeds go to help local foster children in Lewis County. Guardian Friends helps meet the needs that the State does not cover. These needs include specialized therapy, tutoring, sports fees, driver’s education fees, summer camp fees, clothing, bedding and so much more.
In order for the event to take place, Applebee’s requires a minimum of 100 tickets to be sold. Buy your tickets now and help support local children in foster care!
