Enjoy stories, songs and movement games that are especially welcoming to children on the autism spectrum or with other special needs. You’ll enjoy a safe, non-judgmental environment, a schedule board for following along and a sensory-sensitive environment. This is an early learning program.

Offered in partnership with the Olympia Fire Department, young visitors will climb aboard giant fire trucks, a police car and motorcycle, and take a ride on “Lil Squirt,” a mini fire truck. Children will meet fire-fighters, design their own fire helmet and participate in the Junior Firefighter challenge including a spray down of a simulated burning house. Visitors will be greeted by Sparky the costumed fire dog! FREE with admission.
