Community Farmers Market & McMenamins Olympic Club Host Friends & Family Night

The Community Farmers Market in Chehalis and the McMenamins Olympic Club are once again partnering to offer a Friends and Family Night on Monday, May 23rd at the restaurant & pub location in downtown Centralia! McMenamins will donate 50% of Olympic Club sales after 5PM to benefit the Farmers’ Market. Community Farmers Market vendors will provide local, seasonal products for menu specials and raffles. The Great Northwest Music Tour is bringing Aaron Lee Tasjan to the Olympic Club theatre at 7pm, in addition to music by Kendl Winters’ High Pathetics Bluegrass band from 6-9 and Tsunami Pinata from 9 to close, activities, raffles, and socializing with The Community Farmers’ Market in the Olympic Club Green Room.

The Community Farmers Market opens for their 12th season on June 7th. Every Tuesday throughout the season vendors and participants offer fresh, local food and products, activities and programs for children, and musical entertainment in downtown Chehalis from 11AM – 4PM.

Annual Harvest Dinner @ The Loft

Our 10th annual Harvest Dinner is a celebration and fundraiser at The Loft in downtown Chehalis!

Over 20 farmers and vendors provide fresh, local ingredients that come together in a seasonal masterpiece by Chef Jay Ryan. A dessert auction will be held during dinner while light music and a photo slideshow are featured. Gracious donors and energetic volunteers come together to make the annual Harvest Dinner our most valuable and successful Farmers’ Market fundraiser of the year.

Our no-host bar features local beers, wine, and cider, as well as non-alcoholic lemonade and iced herbal tea refreshments while local musicians provide an atmosphere for dancing and mingling. Enter the raffle and silent auction for excellent prizes and certificates from local businesses and market vendors. Discuss and vote on our 2017 Market Poster Art in this year’s contest. Nibble on appetizers from our prepared food vendors until you are welcomed by CFM President Bob Harris and dinner is served!

Join the farmers and artisans, local businesses, supporters, fans, and customers of the Community Farmers Market for a night of celebration and fundraising. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options will be available.

Produce is abundant there are pumpkins and squash, cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, eggplant, corn, beets, cabbage, gourmet cultivated mushrooms, flowers, herbs, plants, art, fresh eggs, hand and body salves, hand crafted teas, jellies and jams, organic cheeses and much more! Tour De Farms – Music Festival and Farmers’ Market @ Willapa Hills Farm

Tour de Farms started during the inaugural Ride the Willapa event in 2016 as part of a USDA Rural Development grant project. Tour De Farms is a music festival and farmers market that will occur during the annual Ride the Willapa event.

For those of you are participating in bike ride this year, the music festival and market is included in your Ride the Willapa ticket!

Day passes and overnight camp passes will be made available to those who wish to enjoy the farmer’s market and music without riding their bikes; Drive, park and enjoy the festivities and local fare.

In addition to old-time bluegrass music from 11am-9pm, the farm will feature a “pop-up” market presented by Chehalis Farmers Market.

This year is our first annual music festival and farmer’s market at Willapa hills Farm. Since 2008 Willapa Hills Farm has been handcrafting natural artisan cheese on their historic farmstead. The creamery produces sheep milk cheese six months of the year and cow milk and sheep/cow milk blended cheese year-round sourcing only the highest quality natural ingredients.

The Community Farmers Market of Chehalis invites you to their 13th annual Harvest Dinner celebration and fundraiser. It’s a Masquerade Ball so come in costume or as you are for an evening of farm to table food, live jazz music, dancing, and community building.

We are proud to partner with Jay Ryan of Hub City Grub, Cara Buswell from Good Stuff Catering, Callisons Inc., McFiler’s Bar, and City Farm Chehalis to bring you this incredible event. Doors open at 4:00 p.m., dinner is served at 6:00 p.m. with gluten free and vegan options available!

There will be free mask making at Tuesday market on September 17th and 24th from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Come to support the market, meet local farmers, network in this great community, and enjoy one of the best dinners of the year in Chehalis. The Chehalis Farmers Market is a 501c3 non-profit and all contributions to our event are tax-deductible.

There will be a silent auction from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. and a dessert auction after dinner. All proceeds go directly to the Farmers Market and support farm to consumer food access in Lewis County.
