Stitches of Love at Country Chicks @ Southwest Washington Fair Grounds; 4-H Hall

Stitches of Love will be in the 4-H Hall building at the Country Chicks event held at the Southwest Washington Fair Grounds. Stop by to make a pillowcase for a child in foster care. Help the Chehalis Land Trust protect this wonderful community asset. The blackberry vines are threatening to take over the trail. Please join us in combat!!
Dress for the weather and the thorns—leather gloves are best. Not appropriate for young children.

Lunafest is a festival of films by, for and about women. Films are provided by Lunabar Company. This showing is organized by Lewis County Branch of American Association of University Women. Proceeds will benefit Human Response Network and local scholarships for women. Before the showing, attendees can enjoy complimentary appetizers and purchase raffle tickets for an assortment of baskets and other items.

Join the Chehalis River Basin Land Trust for a day on by river removing invasive plant species along the Discovery Trail. For all work parties, please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle. Youth under age 14 must be accompanied by an adult and all youth under 18 years of age must have a signed waiver to participate.

Coffee, Water, and Snacks will be provided.

Now in its 11th year, Chef’s Night Out is a must-do for foodies and culinary enthusiasts who want to experience the unparalleled talent of local chefs in Lewis County, all while supporting United Way’s mission of lifting 30% of families out of poverty by 2030.

This year’s extraordinary CHEFS UNITED team includes Darin Harris from Boccata Restaurant, Laurel Khan from Mackinaw’s & Curious the Bar, Donnie Stancil from McMenamin’s Olympic Club, Shane Wright from O’Blarney’s Irish Pub, Jack Heinselman & Kevin Bray from Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel, and Eric Bostick & Garrit Pannkuk from Hub City Grub.
