Do good for your world on MLK day – help prepare the site for student planting.
This activity is for 14 years and older. We will be working at the north end of the trail. Our goal is to open planting holes in the reed canary grass; suggested tools include garden clippers or hedge trimmer, long sharp knife, weed-eater. Three weed-eaters available to loan.

Come for an hour or more, dress for the weather, bring your own gloves. Hot water, donuts and coffee will be provided.

Annual Vader May Day Festival takes place on the first Saturday of every May. The 2019 Festival theme is “May the Fourth Be With You.” All-day events include a parade, cake walk, May Pole Dance, beer garden and much more.
