AARP Foundation Tax-Aide provides free income tax preparation. You do not need to be retired and you do not need to be a member of AARP. Counselors are certified through the IRS to their Advanced Certification. If you have questions on the new standard deduction, child tax credit and more, we can help you. Lunafest is a festival of films by, for and about women. Films are provided by Lunabar Company. This showing is organized by Lewis County Branch of American Association of University Women. Proceeds will benefit Human Response Network and local scholarships for women. Before the showing, attendees can enjoy complimentary appetizers and purchase raffle tickets for an assortment of baskets and other items.

The Borsts and other families built a “New Church” in c. 1872 … to gather together in fellowship and for weddings. Two of the Borst children were married in that church. As well as many other life events. Etta Keller, Reenactor has made a lovely mid-19th century wedding dress and will talk about weddings in that day. Miss Etta will lead the talk.

Slated for Saturday, June 15th at 6:00 p.m. at Jester Auto Museum and Event Center, this unique event brings together Lewis County’s finest chefs and restaurants under one roof for an evening full of culinary innovation.
Now in its 11th year, Chef’s Night Out is a must-do for foodies and culinary enthusiasts who want to experience the unparalleled talent of local chefs in Lewis County, all while supporting United Way’s mission of lifting 30% of families out of poverty by 2030.

Tour de Farms started during the inaugural Ride the Willapa event in 2016 as part of a USDA Rural Development grant project. Tour De Farms is a music festival and farmers market that will occur during the annual Ride the Willapa event.
For those of you are participating in bike ride this year, the music festival and market is included in your Ride the Willapa ticket!
Day passes and overnight camp passes will be made available to those who wish to enjoy the farmer’s market and music without riding their bikes; Drive, park and enjoy the festivities and local fare.
In addition to old-time bluegrass music from 11am-9pm, the farm will feature a “pop-up” market presented by Chehalis Farmers Market.
This year is our first annual music festival and farmer’s market at Willapa hills Farm. Since 2008 Willapa Hills Farm has been handcrafting natural artisan cheese on their historic farmstead. The creamery produces sheep milk cheese six months of the year and cow milk and sheep/cow milk blended cheese year-round sourcing only the highest quality natural ingredients.
