The city council’s regular meetings are held at 5:00 p.m. on the second and fourth Mondays of each month. Otherwise, city councilors do not keep regular office hours at city hall. Please call to arrange an appointment.

The City Council provides elected representation of the citizenry in the governing body. The Council meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month (7 p.m. at City Hall) to approve expenditures of funds and set public policy for the community, with the primary criteria being the safety, health, and general welfare of the community.

The Lewis County Historical Museum is hosting “Lewis County Mythology.” Guest speakers will include: Cliff Barackman from Animal Planet’s “Finding Bigfoot;” Scott Taylor, BFRO member and Bigfoot researcher; Patty Valdez, team lead for South Sound Paranormal Research; and Vince Ynzunza, host of Pacific NorthWEIRD. From Bigfoot encounters to flying saucers, you’ll learn a lot about the unusual side of Lewis County.

Bluegrass concert featuring Fern Hill Bluegrass Band 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Adna Grange #417. Concert: $15 per person (12 and under free). Pie & Ice Cream Social during intermission is by donation. Funds from the social will benefit Adna Grange purchasing new kitchen items and repair work. Raffle drawings at the end of the concert.
