Donna Lowery is a retired Army Sergeant Major, one of the first group of women selected to service in Vietnam. She put together a 20-member book team to research and collect these stories that chronicle the participation of American military women (other than nurses) who were stationed in the Republic of Vietnam during the Vietnam War.

The goal of this club is for young adults to get together to read, discuss, and share YA literature. No genre is excluded! (So long as it’s Young Adult.)
Regular meetings will be held on the 4th Sunday of every month, from 1:30pm – 3:00pm

Presented by: Ron Figlar-Barnes, the EPA Coordianator for the Skokomish Tribe; Eliza Ghitis, Climate Scientist for the Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission; and Kylea Johnson, Director of Programs for the Chehalis River Basin Land Trust with a B.A. in Environmental Science with focus on chemistry and mass extinction.
