This community events calendar is the place to find fun activities and things to do throughout Lewis County, including Centralia, Chehalis and beyond.

We are an active squadron with opportunities for cadets and senior officers to learn, achieve, and serve our local community.
Being under the umbrella of the Air Force and Homeland Security, we have regulations that ensure the safety of our volunteers, as well as manuals to guide us in our training. One of which is the CAP Pamphlet 216 which explains the five key traits of cadet life.
The five traits of cadet life are: the proper wear of the uniform, excellence in aerospace, opportunities to lead and grow in interpersonal and management skills, challenges to build teamwork, ethics and physical fitness, and last but definitely not least is fun.
If you think you haven’t seen us out and about, look again – but look up this time. Spring through autumn you will see us in the sky! We are the gliders you see almost every weekend around the Chehalis Airport. This certainly seems like an advantageous way to achieve the key trait of fun!
Come check out the local unit, ask questions, and see if this is the organization for you.

Express Employment Professionals and United Way of Lewis County are teaming up for an inspiring evening with nationally known speaker on Leadership & Development, Jack Smalley!
A storyteller and humorist, Jack Smalley is a highly sought-after keynoter, delivering an average of 125 speaking engagements annually to business leaders and human resource professionals in the U.S. and Canada.
Jack offers clients extensive leadership guidance from his progressive career as a human resource executive. You won’t be bored with Jack’s engaging story-telling style. He draws inspiration from his more than 30 years of experience in human resources and leadership.
Join us on Monday, November 16th at 5:30 for a special dinner and presentation at The Oak Room @ the historic Wilson Hotel in downtown Centralia. $25 suggested donation, all proceeds will go to United Way of Lewis County.
Reservations are required. To RSVP, call (360) 330-9050 or email Ashley.Witchey@expressrpros.com.
