Join renowned local historian Dan Duffy and the Historic Preservation Commission for the opportunity to see inside a few of the most beautiful and historically interesting buildings in downtown Centralia.
Because we are limiting the tours to 40 participants, you will need to call the Community Development Department, (360) 330-7662, to register for the tours. We will fill up the 10:00 o’clock tour first – and if the demand is as we hope – we will fill up the 2:00 pm tour. If, for some reason, you are unable to attend, please call to have your name removed from the list. Buildings on the tour will include:

•Liberty Theater
•Lewis & Clark Hotel Ballrooms
•Rectangle Door Gallery
•Historic Grand Theater
•Field and Lease Building
•Fox Theatre
•McMenamins (Olympic Club and Hotel)
•Centralia Square Hotel and Ballroom
•Shady Lady Bordello Museum
Each tour will last approximately two hours and will begin at HubBub at (505 N Tower Ave.). Please arrive fifteen minutes before tours are to begin. Things to note: •Wear comfortable shoes
•Prepare for the weather
•Although many of the buildings are ADA accessible, some are not. There are at least six staircases to negotiate.

Featuring a live pie auction with Todd Mason, entertainment and live performance by Chris Guenther with wonderful emcee, Peter Abbarno.
Bring the family and a blanket to sit in the shade! Don’t forget fan favorite chicken bingo, candy scramble, pie-by-the-slice, water balloon toss and a very special raffle! New event this year includes face painting for the kids.
How to get there: From Chehalis, take State Route 6 about three miles west of downtown and turn right on Chilvers Road, then take an immediate left onto Stearns Road. Take another left onto Water Street, and the church will be on your left.
Let’s Play Something will be doing our first Funtime Festival KID FEST at the Napavine Community Park (on the baseball fields) on July 16th.
We’ll be getting doused for charity (benefiting the Youth Advocacy Center), have bounce houses from The Hop Shop (just $5 for an all day wristband to jump), balloon animals by Mr. Twister, face painting, a local business scavenger hunt, and so much more!!
Be sure to check it out! We’ll start right after the Funtime Festival parade ends, around noon (parade starts at 11am).
