Join Nia Faculty Trainer Laurie Bass in an exploration of yin and yang energy. Yin is the feminine, soft, watery, melodic, relaxing and receptive. Yang is the masculine, the form, rhythmic, the fire, assertive and outward directed energy. The body is designed to be in balance with these two energies. Explore how the yin and yang in music and movement bring your body into balance. Arrive at a sense of relaxed power, mindful presence, a heart filled with peace and a spirit in harmony – connected with all that is.

Run Amok Irish Run Club @ O'Blarney's at Gibson House

Our season starts on the first Thursday after St. Patrick’s Day and then meets every Thursday until the last Thursday before Halloween. We meet at 6pm at O’Blarney’s Irish Pub in downtown Centralia to begin our weekly run. We will have 6-8 different routes which we will alternate throughout the year. We end our run at O’Blarney’s to enjoy great food and some social time before we all embark on our respective Fridays!

It’s a great practice for all levels as it encompasses all aspects of the physical practice. Be prepared to sweat as the sequence detoxifies the body. At its core, the Ashtanga practice is exercise. It’s for both the seasoned practitioner or someone who is looking to kickstart their practice in a serious way.
