The goal of this club is for young adults to get together to read, discuss, and share YA literature. No genre is excluded! (So long as it’s Young Adult.)
Regular meetings will be held on the 4th Sunday of every month, from 1:30pm – 3:00pm
The High Pass Challenge is an epic bicycling journey from Packwood to Windy Ridge and back, covering more than 7,500 feet of elevation gain along U.S. Highway 12 and Forest Service roads leading to Mount St. Helens.
Free and fun introduction to square dancing. A chance to get out and get moving. You’ll be dancing right away. Good exercise for body and brain in a friendly atmosphere. No experience necessary. The 4th Annual Southwest Washington Writers Conference will feature two keynote speakers, 18 writing workshops, and networking opportunities for local professional and aspiring writers. Keynoters include award-winning authors Robert Dugoni and Mike Lawson. Dugoni is the New York Times bestselling author of the Tracy Crosswhite series and the critically acclaimed David Sloane series. Lawson, a former senior civilian executive for the U.S. Navy, is creator of the nine novels in the Joe DeMarco series as well as the Kay Hamilton novels.
Paintings are led by Sue Wachter and Joan Hitchcock. Cancellations must be processed more 24 hours in advance to be accepted. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the event starts to get your supplies and spot ready for the evening.
We provide paint, canvas, brushes, apron, snacks and drinks and you get to take home your masterpiece each event. Wine will be provided for those over 21 years of age. Room 116 in Washington Hall on campus.
