This is the first time that a current UFC champion has every challenged a boxer to a boxing match. A pay-per-view fight, O’Blarney’s will have drink specials and lots of Irish flags in honor of McGregor. Drink specials will include $3 20-ounce Bud Light drafts and $2.50 Budweiser bottles since they are the official sponsor for McGregor. Food specials are still being determined.

The High Pass Challenge is an epic bicycling journey from Packwood to Windy Ridge and back, covering more than 7,500 feet of elevation gain along U.S. Highway 12 and Forest Service roads leading to Mount St. Helens.
Free and fun introduction to square dancing. A chance to get out and get moving. You’ll be dancing right away. Good exercise for body and brain in a friendly atmosphere. No experience necessary. For the past 26 years, the lush fairways of Riverside Golf Club in Chehalis have been the sight of the United Way of Lewis County Golf Tournament. This popular event includes green fees, range balls, a golf cart, a team photo, hot dog lunch, and a delicious barbecue dinner following the tournament, provided by Country Cousins Restaurant.
The 4th Annual Southwest Washington Writers Conference will feature two keynote speakers, 18 writing workshops, and networking opportunities for local professional and aspiring writers. Keynoters include award-winning authors Robert Dugoni and Mike Lawson. Dugoni is the New York Times bestselling author of the Tracy Crosswhite series and the critically acclaimed David Sloane series. Lawson, a former senior civilian executive for the U.S. Navy, is creator of the nine novels in the Joe DeMarco series as well as the Kay Hamilton novels.
Paintings are led by Sue Wachter and Joan Hitchcock. Cancellations must be processed more 24 hours in advance to be accepted. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the event starts to get your supplies and spot ready for the evening.
We provide paint, canvas, brushes, apron, snacks and drinks and you get to take home your masterpiece each event. Wine will be provided for those over 21 years of age. Room 116 in Washington Hall on campus.
