Our season starts on the first Thursday after St. Patrick’s Day and then meets every Thursday until the last Thursday before Halloween. We meet at 6pm at O’Blarney’s Irish Pub in downtown Centralia to begin our weekly run. We will have 6-8 different routes which we will alternate throughout the year. We end our run at O’Blarney’s to enjoy great food and some social time before we all embark on our respective Fridays!

Over this two hour workshop, Brenda will take you on a journey through the different styles and techniques of Hoop Dance and empower you to play, groove and practice the FUNdamentals of beginning hoop dance. Laugh your way to learning hoop dance in a safe space and body positive environment. Hoop dance is a low impact form of expressive fitness and suitable for all bodies, genders and ages. It is a moving meditation and highly effective cardiovascular and strengthening exercise experience. No experience necessary! Bring your curiosity, hoops will be provided.

Several bands will grace the stages at the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds to entertain the throngs of garlic lovers at the unique festival. Local chefs will also demo how to cook succulent recipes with garlic, and vendors will arrive by the dozen to offer more food than you could possibly choose from.

Come see the Cowlitz Prairie Grange’s annual Threshing Bee Aug. 26-27, 2017 just north of Toledo for a fun glimpse into the machinery of yesteryear! It’s one of the largest gatherings of its type around, and this event is now entering its second half-century, bringing people from around the region and beyond to enjoy some old-fashioned fun.
Threshing grain will take place every hour on the hour with an antique separator. A tractor pull will include 150 tractors, and more than 100 antique and craft vendors will be on site.
A corn stand will be available, and breakfast and dinner will be available both days.
DAP Hoops with the help of The NW Sports Hub is hosting a drop in 1 day tournament to conquer domestic violence.
The event is open to boys and girls grades 4th to high school and adults. Entry fee is a generous donation toward raising funds for the two kids two weeks ago who was caught in the middle of a domestic violence triangle in Lacey. All proceeds will go to help the 2 kids.
