This community events calendar is the place to find fun activities and things to do throughout Lewis County, including Centralia, Chehalis and beyond.

Come Join Young Professionals Lewis County – YPLC at Riverside Golf Club’s Bistro. Meet new people, promote your business or just relax and enjoy a cocktail, appetizer or dinner as you take in all of the great golf course views.
Young Professionals Lewis County (YPLC)’s Mission is “Connect Young Professionals in Lewis County”.
We are a professional yet casual group who prides itself on welcoming new members. If you haven’t attended an event in the past, try us out this month. We meet every second Wednesday at Riverside Golf Course.
Prospective members are encouraged to contact President Trevor Elliott at Trevor.Elliott@hubinternational.com and he can provide you with group information, meet you at an event & introduce you to current members!
The Centralia-Chehalis Chamber meets on the second Monday of each month. The schedule is adjusted for holidays. Click here for the complete event calendar for the chamber.
Each month, the Chehalis Basin Partnership hosts guest speakers to share news and information about the Chehalis River and water issues relevant to our communities. This month, guests from the Department of Ecology will share information on what to expect in terms of water quality regulations for stormwater, and tools for farmers, cities, and counties to reduce water pollution. Everyone is welcome!

Chehalis River Discovery Trail Field Studies (complimented by City-led tours of Centralia’s Wastewater Treatment Plant)
The Chehalis River Basin Land Trust needs your help!
We are looking for enthusiastic, nature-loving volunteers to assist with our May 2016 Chehalis River Discovery Trail, (CRDT) field studies for local underserved school children, grades 4-8.
During the field studies, students will discover the benefits of healthy riparian corridors to salmon, wildlife—and to humans!
The field studies are generally held from 9:30am to 1:30pm.
Share your love of the outdoors with the next generation!
Come to our May 11th field training, from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the Chehalis River Discovery Trail and become ready to be part of this hands-on science and nature program. Trained volunteers may also help with free summer nature walks along the CRDT for the public!
For more information, or to RSVP for the training, please contact Kathy Jacobson, kathyjacobsonCRBLT@gmail.com.
Funded in part by a grant from the Pacific Northwest Clean Water Association, Adopt-a School Program.
