The Museum of Glass Hot Shop will be at Hands On with their mobile glassblowing studio! Engage with live glassmaking demonstrations and learn about molten glass and how it can be shaped. Kids can experiment with heat by creating art of their own including plastic sculptures and mini-shrink pendants and keychains.

Join us at the Sanctuary for medicine making – cold and flu. In this workshop, we will be focusing on medicine for the winter season. We will be making fire cider, wellness formula, chest rub, elderberry syrup and cough syrup.

The 76th Annual Morton Loggers Jubilee is all about the logging industry. It features a logging show with fierce tree wranglers showcasing their skills. Held August 9 to 12, the weekend includes unique activities such as bed and lawnmower races, a flea market, 10K fun run, grand parade and much more. This event is one of the biggest in the county with up to ten-thousand visitors.

We will begin by taking a stone quiz to find out which ones you need to have in your life and why. We will learn how to clear and clean your stones and the right and wrong way to use them. The Southwest Washington Fair is August 14 to 19. This year’s theme is A Touch of Country. The event promises to be full of fun in the sun with music aplenty, tons of yummy food and shows galore. There’s so much to do and see between rides at the carnival.
