MLK Service Day: Our big planting event! Come on out to help us revitalize the Discovery Trail! Tasks include: planting native shrubs to compete with blackberry and reed canary grass; planting conifer trees among our large but short lived shade trees; improving stream-side ecology with new plantings; enjoying a cold winter’s day among friends and fellow ecologists.
If you’ve tried composting unsuccessfully or you want to learn how to compost, this workshop is for you. Composting is part art and part science, kind of like baking a cake. We’ll demystify that process and help you get started producing good-quality compost for your garden/landscape.

Learn how to prune grapes and which grapes grow well in our climate. Free cuttings from the grapes at Borst Demo Garden will be available.

Bethel’s School of the Arts is excited to announce their second Dinner Theater Event. Join us as we take a trip to the 1950’s for Food, Music and Fun! Invite your friends & family to the hottest spot in town, Uncle Phil’s Diner!
Performances are Saturday, February 18th at 1pm and 5:30pm, at Bethel Church – Chehalis Campus, 132 Kirkland Road (Exit 72).
Proceeds from the event will help provide stage lighting on Bethel Downtown/School of the Arts’ Liberty Theater upgraded stage at 413 N Tower Ave, Centralia.
