The Lewis County Branch of the American Association of University Women
uses the proceeds to award a scholarship to a woman earning a college degree and for other activities that support education for women.
On Saturday, April 23rd, we will plant seeds to celebrate Earth Day (technically, Earth Day is Friday, but everyday should be Earth Day, anyway). Kids of all ages can come and plant the seed of their choice and take them home to nurture. Help them appreciate the earth and feel more connected to nature as they watch their seed sprout into a plant, with just a bit of care.
Best Family Farms will be partnering with us and will give a free Jack-O-Lantern pumpkin to every child that keeps their plant alive until September! So, bring the family, have some fun, and celebrate what our Earth has to offer.
This is a FREE event.
Come on out to our Cub Cadet Test Drive Experience at The Power Shop on April 30th. We will have lots of mowers to drive so you can pick the perfect one! All Echo, Shindaiwa & Bear Cat equipment will be 20% off for that 1 day only!
KMNT Radio will be live on location with giveaways, include South Sound Speedway tickets and chances to win Kenny Chesney tickets!
We will be serving lunch from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m..
Drought Tolerant Gardening
Join us for this Lewis County Historical Museum – Fundraiser.
This is an open to the public fundraising event for The Lewis County Historical Museum with proceeds to help benefit the Museum.
Included with your $45 fee is everything needed to create the featured painting. You will receive step-by-step instruction by a qualified artist during the event and at the end, you get to keep your painting.
A full “no host bar” will be available during the event so participants can purchase beverages.
At this time, food will not be available. (Interested in donating food for this fundraiser? Email us.)
There will also be a small raffle for items including a Gift Certificate to a Merlot Canvas Paint & Sip, so bring some extra cash for the raffle!
Please note, this will be a 21 and over event.

In commemoration of the centennial of the National Park Service, we will be painting “Mountains Out”, a representation of our closet National Park, Mount Rainier. All painting supplies and instructions will be provided by The Merlot Canvas.
Even if you are worried about your artistic skills there will be guided instructions on the how to paint the perfect Mount Rainier! Guests will also be able to take their picture home with them! What a better way to help support the Lewis County Historical Museum and get a beautiful piece of artwork for your home or office.
As a no-host bar and raffles will be available for guests: all attendees must be 21 years of age.

If you haven’t been to a WSU Lewis County Master Gardener Plant Sale, you don’t know what you’ve been missing.
Thousands of plants, all grown by Master Gardeners, include over a thousand tomato plants with nearly 40 varieties, including many heirloom varieties.
Other plants include annuals, perennials, vegetable starts, berries, herbs, shrubs, native plants and much, much more.
In addition to plants we have lots of great garden accessories such as bird and bat houses, mason bee blocks, planter boxes plus raffle items.

Join the Breastfeeding Coalition of Lewis County for a free community screening of MILK, a documentary on the politics, commercialization and controversies surrounding birth and infant feeding.
