This community events calendar is the place to find fun activities and things to do throughout Lewis County, including Centralia, Chehalis and beyond.
A twist on the traditional pumpkin, in this workshop you’ll learn to make unique and adorable pumpkins covered in orange curly silky soft mohair locks, topped with a green stem hat. Something more of a Pumpkin Gnome, or Gnome-o-Lantern? Whatever you call them, they are pure fun!
All the wool you will need is supplied. Bring your favorite felting needles and a felting pad. Other color options will be available.
Join Ranger Kathy Jacobson for an interpretive program/walk this Saturday to learn about the Chehalis River, the history of Rainbow Falls State Park and the CCC. All ages are welcome. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Please dress for the weather as this program will be held rain or shine. Meet at the picnic shelter in the day use area. A Discover Pass — day or valid annual pass is required for each vehicle entering the park.
