Vermiculture, or worm box composting, is a process in which red wiggler worms (also called manure worms) and micro organisms are used to convert kitchen fruit and vegetable waste into nutrient-rich humus or “black gold.” Gardens and potted plants love the addition of this and become healthier and more robust.

Eleven years in the making, started back in 2005 with bringing awareness and hope together toward finding a cure for SMA -Spinal Muscular Atrophy. This is a make-and-take (or online pre-order) event with all supplies provided. If unavailable to create your own wreaths, pre-orders can be placed online to be picked up the day of the event (11-18-16) just specify when ordering. This is held once again, in our local Historic Townsend Barn (between Centralia and Bucoda). Crafts for all ages, raffle items, free refreshments, entertainment and free parking!
