The Fuchsia Fanciers, a Lewis County group and nonprofit gardening organization, is hosting a fuchsia plant sale on May 3rd here at the Centralia Outlets.
From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. near the Eddie Bauer and Polo Ralph Lauren stores, the Fuchsia Fanciers will display and sell a variety of Fuchsia 2-inch starters, gallons, and hardies.
The group is one of 13 in the Pacific Northwest under the umbrella of the Northwest Fuchsia Society. The 26 members meet on the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at Fort Borst Park. The Fuchsia Fanciers aim to educate themselves and others about the growing and showing of fuchsias.

Calling all actors, singers, dancers, musicians, designers, and technicians, ages 13 and up, who are interested in participating in The Pirates of Penzance. Come prepared to read lines, participate in simple choreography, and sing a song a cappella plus a short song with the piano. Casting is flexible with both male and female parts.
