Join us in Celebrating Fire Prevention Week! Riverside Fire Authority is coordinating a grade school poster contest throughout Lewis County and partnering with the Centralia Outlets to help display children’s artwork. This year’s Fire Prevention Week campaign, “Cooking safety starts with YOU. Pay attention to fire prevention.” Awards for best posters will be presented on Oct. 14, and artwork will be displayed October 9 -14, in the gallery near our Polo Ralph Lauren and Eddie Bauer outlets at the 1400 block of Lum Rd.

Please join us for an evening of music with Liberty Quartet. They sing fun, upbeat music that is enjoyed by all ages of people. Liberty is based out of Boise Idaho. They sing full-time, traveling all over the United States and Canada. Everyone is welcome to this concert. There is no charge for this concert and no ticket is required. There will be a free-will offering.

Join us for a safe and friendly Trick-or-Treat event at the Centralia Outlets. Kids 12 and under are invited to come in costume and Trick-or-Treat throughout the Centralia Outlets at our participating stores on Halloween, October 31st from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. while candy supplies last. Parents, don’t forget to check out store savings while you are here!

Delight in the fragrance of delicious gingerbread cookies you will bake with Makayla Roberson of Mak’s Snack Shack! While your cookies are baking in the oven, you will decorate previously baked gingerbread cookies with royal icing and fun toppings! One adult chef and one child chef (age 5-8) per registration can enjoy this winter celebration that is sure to awaken your internal baking show contestant!

Historic Borst Home Museum Volunteers have prepared a fun interactive “Christmas at Borst Museum” for visitors. Carolers will greet our visitors on both the Schoolhouse and Pioneer Church steps. A skit will be presented of the Borst Family and Friends at 2 & 3 pm in the Pioneer Church. And, Making a Star ornament. The One Room Schoolhouse will host decorating the tree as in years gone by. With a small ornament made by your child to be taken home. A gift bag for each child, as was given historically will be given each child.

Ring in the new year early at our Noon Year’s Eve Party on December 31. Celebrate with a family countdown, Times-Square style ball drop, and bubble dance party every hour from 10 am – 4 pm!
Experience the enchanting Winter Wonder Faire and discover the magical Fairy Hollow where kids can make wands, wings, and tiny things, create teacup cozy homes, investigate toadstools and fairy rings, craft a woodland crown, and even meet costumed fairy characters.
