Women’s Only Basic Pistol Class @ Centralia Rifle Club & Junior Divison

School has started and now is the time to educate yourself on firearm safety. Come learn firearm safety rules, how a handgun functions, how to load it, clear jams, trigger press, sight alignment, stance and more. Class size is limited to 6 attendees so register early. Don’t own a firearm yet, no problem, just bring 9mm Luger/Parabellum and/or .22LR to use in one of the handguns I have. Eye and ear protection is required, but I have extra of those if you do not have them. A baseball cap is also required. The fee is $85 which includes a $30 non-refundable deposit. Discovery Trail – September Work Party @ Chehalis River Discovery Trail, Centralia

The Chehalis River Basin Land Trust will hold a Work Party at the Chehalis River Discovery Trail, near Centralia, from 9 a.m. until noon, on Tuesday, September 27, 2022. We’ll be removing invasive plants from areas near the trail.
The Discovery Trail is at 1545 Goodrich Rd., Centralia. Follow the event signs to parking near the old red barn. Water, snacks, and other cold drinks will be provided (please bring your own bottle for water.).
Please dress for the weather and bring sturdy work gloves and footwear. We will have some garden tools and gloves available at the site but feel free to bring your own hand tools.

This class covers the basics of pistol use. How the firearm functions, how to load a magazine, grip, stance, eye dominance, aim, trigger press and more. If you work weekends and have wanted to take a class, this one is for you. If you do not own a pistol, one will be provided, just bring a box of 9mm Luger/Parabellum and/or .22LR (long rifle) ammo. To register for this class call Dolly at 360-978-4338. Fee for the class is $85 which includes a $30 non-refundable preregistration fee and balance due at the start of class. Class size is limited to six attendees so register soon. What you will need to bring to participate in the class will be shared with you when you register.

Women learning to shoot pistols taught by a woman. Want to learn the basics, i.e. how to grip the firearm, load the firearm, how to use the sights, and how to press the trigger among other issues with firearms? Do you know when to shoot and when not to? Come and learn basics of handling firearms. Education helps keep you safe. If you do not own a firearm, that is not a problem.
