Thank you for letting us know about your event! Did you know you can post all your future events directly onto our site? It’s the fastest way to make sure we see it!
Here is How to Post an Event on LewisTalk:
Follow this link directly to our calendar: https://www.lewistalk.com/centralia-events-calendar/
Click the green “+ Post Your Event Button” which is located above the first calendar post, on the right.
Please be sure to include the following items. We cannot approve a post that does not contain AT LEAST:
- A start date AND time (Time is added by checking the “add time” box AFTER you select a date. An end time is helpful for readers but not necessary)
- A Location (including the name of venue and address)
- A brief description (no more than two short paragraphs)
- A link to a website
A picture always makes your posts more appealing to your audience so we highly suggest one, but it is not necessary.
Once you submit it, your event has to be approved by an editor. Please allow 2-3 days for this. Any questions can be sent to submit@lewistalk.com.

Our Summit to Swamp Obstacle Mud Run is FREE this year. Come for the day. Bring your family and friends. Bring something for a potluck if you like. Enjoy a bonfire and music. Make new friends.
Let’s kickstart an AWESOME 2021 together!

The wheel has turned again bringing us to the time of Summer Solstice. The Bounty of the land is full, the songbirds sing and the vibrant colors of the flowers fill the property.
Come and join us as we raise our horns/cups to Baldur and celebrate this beautiful season of light. There will be a Blot followed by a Sumbel. Our own völva, Elwin will sit on the high seat weaving the mysteries of seidr for the community.
Raise the vibration in the sacred land as we chant and weave our energies in a drum circle following the ritual. Music will be playing throughout the event channeling the energy shifts of the day.
We will offer a workshop on the sacred herbs of the Celtic people. We will discuss the herbs and then make herbal oil and a tincture. For your creative souls, our art project is to create a sun wheel with marigolds and make daisy crowns for your head.
We will be hosting a potluck picnic Style dinner. We will have a few tables and chairs set up but feel free to bring your blankets to lay down upon the soft grass and enjoy your dinner. I’m thinking that it would be lovely to have a barbecue. The sanctuary will provide the meats (brisket, ribs, sausages, and chicken as well as a couple of gallons of tea and a gallon of herb-infused water. All of you will bring the sides and desserts. Please comment on what you were bringing so others can know what is already being brought.
This event is limited to 20 participates. Please ONLY rsvp going if you have checked your calendar ahead of time and can attend. Many crave community at this time so please be mindful. This is an outside event and masks are optional, but be mindful of 3-foot distance. We will have hand sanitizer and paper towels for your hands.
What you need to bring;
A dish for the potluck, preferably prepared ahead of time.
A drum for the drum circle. ( we have a few to share)
A joyful heart and an excellent attitude. Anything that you would like to bring for the picnic, such as a chair or a blanket for your comfort. I hope to see everyone here.

Burnt Ridge Nursery founder Michael Dolan will lead a tour of our 20-acre organic fruit and nut orchard, with a focus on crops that ripen in the summer including blueberries, mulberries, and figs.
