Join Lewis County Stream Team for a tree planting event at Olive Branch Ranch! We will be planting a mix of native trees and shrubs to create wildlife habitat and improve water quality. Celebrate Earth Day 2023 at the Chehalis River Discovery Trail with Lewis County Stream Team, Noxious Weed Control, and the Chehalis River Basin Land Trust. The work party will meet from 10AM-1PM on Saturday, April 22nd at the trailhead parking lot at the end of Goodrich Road. We will be removing invasive weeds from the trail to improve wildlife habitat. Are you ready to learn how a firearm functions? Don’t know how to choose a firearm you might want, then this class is for you. Learn the basics of how a firearm operates, learn about different ammo, how to grip the firearm, how to stand, line up the sights, press the trigger and more. If you do not own a firearm I will have several available for you to try. You would need to bring a box of 9mm Luger or Parabellum ammo and/or .22 LR (long rifle) ammo. You would also have to bring eye & ear protection as well as a baseball cap. The fee is $85 and you must call Dolly at 360-978-4338 in advance to reserve your spot. Can have 6 ladies in each class.
