This community events calendar is the place to find fun activities and things to do throughout Lewis County, including Centralia, Chehalis and beyond.
Each February we promote healthy smiles by joining with our dental community to offer free dental screenings right inside the Museum! Kids can pretend to be the dentist in our Puget Sound Dental Office exhibit and meet special guests like Amazon of Olympia, Batman in Seattle, and Tinker Fairy. Join a virtual volunteer orientation and learn more information about becoming a volunteer in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. Mentor a youth in our community by spending a few hours each month doing things you both enjoy. Learn how we ignite the power and promise of youth with our proven system of support and safety.
Join Lewis County Stream Team and Twin Brooks Farm for a nature walk along a Conservation Reserve Enhancement Site. Learn about native plants, salmon, and how to protect water quality. Come enjoy planting trees along the stream!

Women learning to shoot pistols taught by a woman. Want to learn the basics, i.e. how to grip the firearm, load the firearm, how to use the sights, and how to press the trigger among other issues with firearms? Do you know when to shoot and when not to? Come and learn basics of handling firearms. Education helps keep you safe. If you do not own a firearm, that is not a problem. Grow tomatoes with or without a greenhouse! In this class we will talk about how to grow tomatoes from seed to harvest covering topics such as choosing varieties, providing good growing conditions and keeping plants strong and productive.
