Join Lewis County Stream Team and Twin Brooks Farm for a nature walk along a Conservation Reserve Enhancement Site. Learn about native plants, salmon, and how to protect water quality. Come enjoy planting trees along the stream!

Women learning to shoot pistols taught by a woman. Want to learn the basics, i.e. how to grip the firearm, load the firearm, how to use the sights, and how to press the trigger among other issues with firearms? Do you know when to shoot and when not to? Come and learn basics of handling firearms. Education helps keep you safe. If you do not own a firearm, that is not a problem. Preregistration is required for this class with a $25 nonrefundable deposit and $60 balance due at the door. Call Dolly at 360-978-4338 to register.

Join Lewis County Stream Team for a tree planting event at Olive Branch Ranch! We will be planting a mix of native trees and shrubs to create wildlife habitat and improve water quality. The Lewis County Branch of American Association of University Women will hold its 43rd annual book sale at a NEW LOCATION this year:

9am to 5pm daily
Book prices start at just $3 for hardcover and $2 for paperbacks on Thursday, dropping to $2 for hardcover and $1 for paperbacks on Friday, and finally to just $5 for a bag of books all day on Saturday!
Thousands of fiction and nonfiction books, audiobooks, CD’s and DVD’s will be on sale.

Grow tomatoes with or without a greenhouse! In this class we will talk about how to grow tomatoes from seed to harvest covering topics such as choosing varieties, providing good growing conditions and keeping plants strong and productive.
