Each February we promote healthy smiles by joining with our dental community to offer free dental screenings right inside the Museum! Kids can pretend to be the dentist in our Puget Sound Dental Office exhibit and meet special guests like Amazon of Olympia, Batman in Seattle, and Tinker Fairy. Lewis County youth from 6th to 12th grades are invited to compete in the Southwest Washington High School and Middle School Chess Championships. The chess tournament, a Regional State Qualifier, will be held Saturday, February 4 at Centralia College. Entry is free, and chess players of all abilities are welcome. Join Lewis County Stream Team and Twin Brooks Farm for a nature walk along a Conservation Reserve Enhancement Site. Learn about native plants, salmon, and how to protect water quality. Come enjoy planting trees along the stream!

Join Lewis County Stream Team for a tree planting event at Olive Branch Ranch! We will be planting a mix of native trees and shrubs to create wildlife habitat and improve water quality.
