Master Gardeners will be in the Gardens sharing how to start gardening … Gardening Made Simple. Anyone can garden, almost anywhere. The site buildings are Open 1:30 til 3:30 with our Talk at 2 pm for 30 mins. As will our Living Historians to visit about our history and gardening then and now. Some things have changed, but not. George Washington was practicing Garden Rotation 250 years ago. It is still a wise practice. He used “Organic Gardening” also, though they didn’t give it such a fancy catch phrase.
Olympia Highlanders Bagpipes and Drum Corps are coming to perform our wide array of music. Band plays at 2 pm. Bring your chairs and enjoy a bit of the Highlands along the banks of the river.
