Fess serves families in Thurston, Lewis, Mason and Pierce counties. Tourney includes two divisions: two-person social teams for casual players, and an individuals’ super-switch competitive division, using ACL standards. The action will be overseen by the Twin Cities Cornhole League of Centralia and Chehalis. Prizes go to the three top teams, and a cash prize will be awarded in the super-swith competition. Fun prizes also awarded for categories like “best cornhole costume.” The evening includes a silent auction and a DJ and entertainment by Bobby Williams, founder of the Bridge Music Project.
The event is adult-only The cost is $100 per team – $50 per team member – for the social event; $60 per individual for the competitive super switch event. Food and drink is an additional $25. Summer Solstice Circle @ House of Light Global Nature & Renewal Center

I?t’s time for to celebrate the summer solstice! Whether you call it Midsommar or Litha, the summer solstice is a fantastic time to reflect on everything that is going right in our lives. It’s a time to celebrate the sun, the earth, and sisterhood. Bring back ceremony and ritual to your life. Bring back community and sisterhood, and reclaim your connection to the earth’s cycles.

Including ceremony, a walk through a private forest, freeform dance, share circle, solitary time for reflection and journaling in nature, and finishing with traditional Midsommar refreshments. The day will be filled with traditional Midsommar symbolism and associations, ensuring each part of the day is in full celebration of this most beautiful day and honoring the traditional origins.

T?he event will be kept intimate, focusing on a goal of 9-12 women. So reserve soon if you’re interested!
