This community events calendar is the place to find fun activities and things to do throughout Lewis County, including Centralia, Chehalis and beyond.
Come and learn about handguns. How to load, grip, sight alignment, stance and more. Have questions regarding how a gun works, self-defense or any other topic involving firearms, this is the class for you. If you do not own a firearm I have several for you to try. Cost is $75 and preregistration is required with a $25 non-refundable deposit and balance due at the door. Bring your firearm if you have one, the proper ammo for it, eye protection, ear protection and a baseball cap. If you do not own a pistol or revolver, bring 9mm Ruger/ Parabellum and/or .22LR ammo to use in the firearms I have available. Join the summer celebration at ChehalisFest, held each year on the last Saturday of July. This event offers activities for kids and families, car fanatics and folks of all ages throughout the day. Downtown Chehalis will be buzzing with summer fun! There will be a car show, live bands all day, beer garden, a vendor fair, kids’ zone, and local businesses will offer incredible deals! Come enjoy the lazy days of summer in downtown Chehalis!

You do not have to own a pistol to take this class. Come and learn what to take into consideration when purchasing your first firearm. I have several different sizes of handguns to try on for size. Join us as we celebrate our 40th anniversary at our current location! We will have refreshments and TWO special performances by Cowboy Buck and Elizabeth. The first performance at 11 a.m. features interactive musical comedy and ventriloquism for kids of all ages. Their second performance at 1 p.m. will take (some of) you on a stroll down memory lane with folk songs of the 60s and 70s.

School has started and now is the time to educate yourself on firearm safety. Come learn firearm safety rules, how a handgun functions, how to load it, clear jams, trigger press, sight alignment, stance and more. Class size is limited to 6 attendees so register early. Don’t own a firearm yet, no problem, just bring 9mm Luger/Parabellum and/or .22LR to use in one of the handguns I have. Eye and ear protection is required, but I have extra of those if you do not have them. A baseball cap is also required. The fee is $85 which includes a $30 non-refundable deposit.
