Solo Together is a free four day opportunity for 13-18 year olds who have lost a loved one to explore the wild in their own neighborhood, engage in creative activities to connect with nature and process their grief, and connect virtually with other grieving teens and skilled guides. Join us to battle invasive plants along the trail. There is blackberry and tansy galore! Every pair of hands can help. The City will provide a disposal trailer….let’s fill it!

Please come prepared for the weather; leather gloves help with thorns. Maybe your favorite shovel, loppers, or clippers.
Drive into the barn parking area.
Join us to improve the riparian area along the Discovery Trail. This work party will remove invasive weeds; adults and older teens only. The work can be hard, but Oh so satisfying!
Bring your leather gloves if you have them, loppers, etc. Dress for the weather.
We will provide snacks, water and coffee; gloves if needed.

Join us for a sensory-friendly Boo Bash experience. This is a special event for families of children with autism or other special needs to provide private, less over-stimulating time to experience the museum.
The Boo Bash Festival offers Halloween-inspired activities, costumes, and more without the fright! Explore a straw bale maze, press apples into cider, decorate a pumpkin and float it in the regatta, watch weird Dr. Science demos, silkscreen a treat bag, and more! Sponsored by Hanson Subaru.
