Spring is here, and with the new season comes the Easter holiday. Since the holiday is later this year, perhaps the weather will be warm and sunny? Rain or shine, it’s time to dig out the Easter baskets, dress the kids in their cutest outfits for pics with the bunny and take the family to a fun Easter egg hunt in Chehalis, Centralia and all around Lewis County.

Get cute with the kiddos for photos in front of an adorable Easter-themed background at County Chick Baby Co. on Saturday, March 29. These sit-and-snap photos by Emma Solis — KC Photography do not feature the Easter bunny and are $5 a piece with a two-image limit. Photos will be emailed to customers, and tickets need to be purchased in advance as no walk-ins will be taken.

There won’t be a professional photographer, but the friendly staff are happy to help snap a family photo.

Free Easter Egg Hunt

Come back to Let’s Play Something on Friday, April 19, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., for a fabulous, free Easter Egg Hunt. Each kid can collect up to five eggs and have a chance to find a golden egg every hour for a special prize.

Easter Egg Hunt 2025 at The Huntting’s Farm

The Huntting’s Pumpkin Patch and Haunted Forest

This spring, the spooky forest at Huntting’s Pumpkin Patch becomes the place for Easter egg hunting on Saturday, April 19, at 3 p.m. With nearly 30,000 eggs hidden, find prizes such as full-size candy bars, chips and sodas. Four different egg hunts will be divided by age, and even the adults can participate! Free for kids, those 13 and over costs $5 per participant. We will have four separate hunts for kids and adults of all ages. During the adult hunt in the forest, visitors can find larger prizes, including cash with a $100 grand prize.

Experience holiday fun on a train with Easter Eggspress at Centralia-Chehalis Railroad & Museum. Enjoy scenic views on this 75-minute ride along the Chehalis River Valley. When the train returns, kids aged 12 and under can participate in an egg hunt with candy and prizes. Other fun activities include games, face painting, and photos with the Easter Bunny. This fantastic train ride is limited, so get tickets now. Kids two and under are free, but don’t forget the Easter baskets. Make reservations here and arrive half an hour before the train departs.

It will be a fun day on Easter Sunday, April 20, at Insert Coin! This cool and free Easter Egg Hunt is in the arcade, so don’t mind the weather. Ages 10 and under start at 3 p.m., and kids 10 and over at 3:05 p.m. While you are there, enjoy the fun games, great food and tasty drinks!
