Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce announces a Ribbon Cutting ceremony for Bitchin’ Britches Boutique, formally Sparkles N’ Spurs Boutique at 1210 Lum Rd. in Centralia. Owner Melinda Wilkes will be on hand to celebrate the re-branding and new name of her boutique with drawings, prizes, swag bags and refreshments on Saturday, October 22 at 2 pm.
Wilkes bought Sparkles N’ Spurs boutique on January 1, 2019, which used to be a wedding and prom dress boutique but has since transformed the shop into a women’s retail boutique specializing in designer jeans and boho chic/country western fashion for women of all ages including a huge selection of stylish plus size fashions. Wilkes even offers free hemming for in-store purchases.
The name Bitchin’ Britches comes from Wilkes’ mobile shop which she would set up at vendor events and nods to her selection of designer jeans, or “Bitchin’ Britches.” Please join us for a ribbon-cutting celebration on October 22 at 2 pm.
