Danny Dalsted is graduating from Onalaska High School. He’s attended the Onalaska School District since kindergarten. He has been involved in football his sophomore, junior and senior years and also participated in basketball all four years of high school. Danny’s favorite teachers are Mr. Saade and Mr. Nelson. He is extremely grateful for all the encouragement they have given him.
Danny’s favorite high school memories are going to basketball and football camps with his teammates. He loves going to school in Onalaska and is immensely proud of the work ethic that the football and basketball programs produce.
The only thing he would change is not playing football his freshman year. “Football ended up being my favorite sport to be a part of,” says Danny. “I feel like we all took past seasons for granted. This year was a shortened season, and we missed it a lot”.
Danny’s advice to underclassmen would be “to get involved in as many things as possible because chances are you will end up loving it, and even if you don’t, you can still say you tried it. “
His plan after high school is to attend Arizona State University, where he will major in engineering in technology.
