Lewis County PUD will hold a series of public hearings in September and October for the proposed budget, rates, and Integrated Resource Plan. To encourage public participation, the PUD will host these hearings virtually using Zoom, an Internet-based video conferencing solution. Additionally, the PUD will open its auditoriums in the Chehalis and Morton offices for people without internet to come and participate in the virtual hearings.
“Despite the challenges of holding in-person meetings during the pandemic, the PUD strongly encourages public participation in these hearings,” said Ben Kostick, President of the PUD Board of Commissioners. “We’re trying to provide a range of options that both maintain public health guidance and enable members of the public to be involved.”
