On Thursday, June 27, 2019, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., the Lewis County Historical Museum will have an opening night reception to begin the 1919 Centralia Armistice Day Tragedy Exhibit. This opening night event is open to the public and entrance is by donation.  Talks will be given by Board President Peter Lahmann and local historian Jay Hupp.

The exhibit seeks to encourage public education and discussion about an episode of local history that continues to excite community passions. On display will be rarely seen artifacts and court photos that will expand the vision of the incident and give a better view of Centralia 100 years ago. The exhibit will run until November 18, 2019.

For additional information please contact Jason Mattson at 360-748-0831 or Board President Peter Lahmann at 360-870-0706.
