Who’s got the best happy hour in Lewis County? According to readers of The Chronicle, O’Blarney’s at the Gibson House does! This year, Chronicle readers submitted 2,350 nominations in over 100 categories and logged 14,500 votes. O’Blarney’s at the Gibson House came out on top as Lewis County’s destination for Best Happy Hour. Lewis County’s favorite Irish Pub also earned nominations for Best Cocktail and Best Bar.
Between 3:00 and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, O’Blarney’s happy hour serves up appetizer favorites like potato skins and mozzarella sticks for just $5.50 and hot wings for $7. Domestic pints and well drinks are $3.25, but if you’re in the mood for a microbrew, $4.25 will get you a frosty pint. If it’s those award-winning cocktails you’re after, you can sample the Washington Apple, Flying Dragon or Cremesicle for just 5 bucks.
Of course, happy hour isn’t all O’Blarney’s does well. (There’s a reason they landed a top spot in no less than three categories!) Their daily specials offer a little something for everyone. Hungry carnivores will love Thursday’s steak night, with an 8-ounce sirloin, vegetables, and a baked potato or fries for a mere $9.99. Fridays and Saturdays are the night for prime rib specials starting at 5:00 p.m. If you love the nightlife, Friday and Saturday also brings late-night happy hour from 11:00 p.m. to close. Party the night away with $1 off bottles of beer and $6 bomb shots.
If you love anything that fits into a tortilla, you can get your Mexican food fix on Taco Tuesday. O’Blarney’s Centralia features an all-you-can-eat taco bar for $5.99 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. and margaritas for a mere $3 from 3:00 p.m. to close. ¡Ándale, ándale! ¡Arriba!
