Free screenings are offered at the Healthier Together event, such as blood sugar and blood pressure checks.

One of the targeted invitees to this year’s Healthier Together event will again be fourth graders and their families from Washington Elementary School in Centralia.

For the second year, Providence is providing Sqord activity-tracking wristbands to the pupils and working with PE teacher Joe Mano to help increase health through fun.

It’s all part of Providence’s Igniting Health Habits for Kids initiative.
